About 800 metres northeast of Koh Si Chang is a peaceful island of Koh Kham. It boasts private atmosphere and simple lifestyles of local fisherman. Here you will find peace amidst the blue sea and sandy beach. This is an island with a community of approximately 40 families.
A boat ride from Koh Si Chang can take you to this island in only 30 minutes. You can start from the beach the ferry. Walk on to the east, there is a stony beach or Haad Kruad. From this beach ones can see the three islands named Koh Kham Noi, Koh Prong and Koh Ran Dokmai. You can walk to Ao Sapparod, which is a clean sandy beach suitable for swimming. From the beach, there is a small walking path leading to the viewpoint that offers a panoramic view of sunset. A walking tour around the island takes about 2 – 3 hours.
Koh Kang Kao Koh Kang Kao is a small island in the southeast of Koh Si Chang. This peaceful and evergreen island is a popular place for snorkeling.
Situated just 2 kilometres from Koh Si Chang, the island has only been known to tourists recently. This small island may not have striking white sand beaches but it is ideal for leisure fishing, camping and snorkeling. There is only one small resort, run by islanders, in the island. To get here, most tourists buy a package tour that includes roundtrip boat transfer, snorkeling tours, meals and accommodations.
